Cebu is an island popular of its historical places and incredible views. The Metro Cebu area has become a commercial hub for many local and international companies, but tourists can still expect a wide array of unique spots worthy of a visit.
I usually go to Cebu for business and even lived there for a period, but I have to admit that I have never truly explored much of what it has to offer. This is why I got captivated by this video by Dex Maligang of Dex Creative Photography.
He visited Nalusuan Island, famous for its rich marine life and beautiful scenery. Dex was able to capture on video the marine sanctuary there that was good for snorkeling. Also in the video are the famous whale sharks in Oslob, although it is something we don’t support or endorse as we don’t think that it is a sustainable tourism practice. What we recommend, though, is Oslob’s Tumalog Falls, which is featured in the video too.
He was also able to take footage of the usual city tourist stops including Fort San Pedro, Magellan’s Cross, and Lapu-lapu Shrine. My favorite part was the short clip on guitar-making.
