Catanduanes is famous for its waves; however, the province has beautiful beaches with cream-colored sand and calm glass-like waters for swimming and beach bumming. Mamangal is close to Virac, the biggest town on the island, making the beach ideal for those who want a quick getaway that’s idyllic and picturesque. Mamangal has tranquil waters, depending on the weather, and quiet surroundings. Make this your next destination before returning to Manila and after testing your mettle on the waves of Puraran.
